32-bit download brings 64-bit version -- bogus report

May 27, 2010 at 3:14 AM

I've downloaded both the 32-bit and 64-bit zipped installers (for WPF 3.5) posted 5/21, and they're identical -- both are the 64-bit installer.  (It's not the URls that are wrong -- those are different, but both result in the same .ZIP file that contains the x64 MSI.)

This will be very useful once I get it going!  Thanks.

Talking to myself again...

Never mind -- there's a Chrome oddity.  I downloaded the x64 version first, and having done so it saves the identical download even clicking the x86 download link.  It worked fine when I did it with IE.

I wonder why -- but that's not relevant now.

Glad you're no longer having any problems!

However, I use Chrome myself and I don't have any problems downloading all four versions ... as they are now all named differently. This was a change that I made recently. In fact, I did make it on May 21st ... so maybe you just got a version that didn't have the .msi and the .zip named differently.
