Copy tag to clipboard

Mar 4, 2012 at 7:00 PM

One of the first questions I get from people when I introduce them to snoop is something along the lines of: this is great, I can change things while its running! Can I get that information back somehow so that I can update my xaml without having to remember everything I changed?

I've written a fairly basic copy tag to clipboard into the context menu of the tree.  It won't do bindings and stuff right now (just basic properties) but it will get you most of the properties that you're likely to change (at least in my experience) when tweaking a layout.

Any interest in actually getting it into the source tree?

Me too, especially if the code for it is already written!

Hey, I would love to take a look at what you've done ... I've created a work item for you ... to attach your implementation to.

Thanks for being willing to share your mods back with the wider community!
