Export window contents as vector graphic

Oct 29, 2014 at 7:51 PM
Can Snoop or parts of it be used to export a live WPF window of any running application into a multi-layer vector graphic? It would be cool to have a screenshot as high-resolution vector graphic that could be edited to remove backgrounds or the like.

I know that the hovered visual tree item is displayed with a transparent background. Putting it all together, using the current actual positions, could give a nice image of the whole window. Preferably as SVG which seems to be a widely understood vector graphic format. (Not sure about CorelDRAW cdr or Illustrator Ai... Or which application could view/convert/edit XAML data.)
