How feasible is it to allow Snoop to work on interop apps?

The application I work on most of the time is a native C++ MFC app which hosts WPF using ElementHost. Would it be feasible to give Snoop the ability to peek inside applications like that?

Have you tried the version that I have here? It does not work?

I did get it working for Windows Forms to WPF interop (using ElementHost and WindowsFormsHost). I haven't ever tried a C++ MFC app.

I think the problem may be that it is not looking for apps that don't have a managed top-level window (or some other rule like that). I don't ever see any native C++ app window listed in the comboxbox.

Let me know if you figure this out ... I wish I had time to dive in on getting Snoop to work in all interop scenarios, but I don't.

However, I will definitely try to incorporating any fixes the community figures out. That is why Snoop is now on CodePlex!
